Boundary Table

Inside the Boundary
Outside the Boundary
People who experience ink bleeding through to the other side of a sheet of paper.
Those who write softly and thus do not experience this problem, or write with pencil or gel pen.
The need is to be able to write with a pen and also be able to use the other side of the sheet.
There is no need if one uses pencil or gel pen.
This need exists for a number of reasons including how hard one may push down on their pen, and people want to be able to use their paper without worrying about the ink ruining the other side.
Maybe those who don't experience the problem don't write often or just never use ink pen.

  1. Hi Skylar. Your interviews seem to be very thorough. It looks like you definitely learned more about who is outside your boundary. While the need for a solution to this problem does exist, there are some people who do not experience that need as much as others. These people include gel pen and pencil users like you mentioned. Great post!

  2. Hi Skylar,

Well done with your interviews! I liked how you interviewed a wide variety of individuals who all had unique perspective. I found it interesting that everyone's responses seemed to be very personal (I couldn't have predicted a few of them). This suggests to me that this issue is definitely very underlying, but I wonder just how many day to day people really are conscious of this very real issue. In my own life, it's definitely something that I notice, but I've just become so accustomed to pens bleeding through that I ignore it and take it as a given.

Otherwise, well done and I can't wait to hear your solution!

    1. Your interviews are very informative on who thinks what of the situation you are covering, and gives the overall perspective of what most people's opinions are. I loved the way you organized your work it was very thorough and easy to comprehend. It was also cool to see the people that don't necessarily come across this issue as much as you do, and your reaction to those statements. Overall, great job!
